Remember Wired magazine: “You are what Google says you are.”

So it’s important to “Google Yourself” regularly to monitor the internet conversation about you.  If it’s not exactly what you’d like to see, for example those inaccurate Yellow Pages and Manta directories?  Or what about that negative one-star Yelp review from a pissed-off opponent or crazy client?

Perhaps those meaningless entries from Lawyers.com and Martindale.com?  Or that inaccurate rating score of 6.5 (i.e. “Good”) from Avvo.com?

Take charge of your online reputation!

Add valuable, useful, and accurate new information, and push that junk down to pages 2 or 3, where very few people will see it.
