I spotted a new Toynbee Tile in NYC

After giving a marketing presentation in New York today, the client took me out to lunch. Crossing 3rd Avenue, I walked past a Toynbee Tile at 42nd and 3rd!  I’d just read an article about these mysterious foot-wide guerilla art installations.  

They are created by an unknown artist, and have been secretly embedded into asphalt roads all over the US for decades. This looks like it might be a brand new one!  (See more at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toynbee_tiles)
