Every year, the highlight of the LMA Midwest Chapter is the annual conference. We anticipated 150 attendees from over 100 law firms across the Midwest – Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri and more.

Last summer, I moderated and co-chairing the program with the terrific Melissa Melinauskas Marshall from FireFly Legal, now Clark Hill.  We knew the specific topics we wanted covered.

The best speakers are busy, so, anticipating conflicts and tight schedules, we needed to invite eight top speakers to confirm five – and we got them.  All of our finalists were selected straight from LawFirmSpeakers.com. 

The program rocked – with terrific speakers like Ann Lee Gibson, Tim Corcoran, Russell Lawson, Barbara Miller, and Bill Flannery.  The marketing and business-development topics all related to measurement and ROI, so it wasn’t just how to do the work, it discussed how to ensure that it’s working, and prove it to your marketing committee.
